From Injury to Performance

What Is Sciatica?

Sciatica refers to irritation of the sciatic nerve — the large nerve running from your lower back down through your hips, glutes, and legs.
It’s often caused by irritation of a spinal joint, disc, or surrounding muscle tension that compresses or inflames the nerve.
The result can be pain, tingling, or weakness radiating from the lower back into the leg.

Our role is to determine the source of the irritation and design a treatment plan that relieves pressure on the nerve and restores normal movement patterns.
